Awesome pics guys and if zombies came we would be screwed… not all just some of us:) thing is never go alone and only travel during the day time then u can see there shadows.(get up the stairs then blow them up use swords they dont need to reload). from the book how to survive a zombie attack by Max Brooks I recomend this book to ALL …… ow and if they do come good luck

Hey isn’t it more likely it would be a parasite not a virus? I mean a parasite would be able to adapt as well as hold more genetic information.

PS: Why do people think they have to bite you? I mean come on blood to blood would be more than enough. So Chainsaw not good idea.

Left4Dead is an astonishing game. But unrealistic when it comes to the abilities of the zombies. I believe that the infected dont have “special powers” of any sort, unless you consider their sheer strength and motivation to devour a power. The whole not decaying idea is a scary one, but I dont see how it would be possible unless the virus strain was specialized in some sort of way, and had the ability to adapt and such. If we had a full on Zombie infection outbreak, there would be mass suicide, and mass destruction before the zombies could cause complete disarray. But I believe there would be the groups with enough sensibility to start a new civilization. And area somehow surrounded and protected, with all sorts of protection and what not. But the average human? Would crack under the extreme severity of the situation at hand.

That is super cool, JP, thanks for posting about it. Despite Neil being a favorite author I am really bad about getting over to his site on a regular basis. I spend so much of my time just hoping to keep up with you guys, my dear friends.

I’ll be scoping this out later when I can take some more time.

I’ve been obsessed with staring at his bookshelves!!! Seriously..I think I spent well over an hour yesterday zooming in on everything :p I think Carl will be glad to know that he has all of Harry Harrison’s Stainless Steel Rat books!

i must add that it’s by no means without its flaws. as i said, it does start very slowly. and also, i didn’t quite agree with the direction the book took in the end but i could accept it because it was consistent with the rest of the narrative.

but aside from that there was loads i liked about the book!
