viewers in peril: halloween

 

charlotte and i got into the rip spirit and watched “halloween” 1 & 2 on saturday and followed it with numbers 4 & 5 in the week.  well, actually our reason for watching them was more incidental – charlotte had a big ol’ hangover and wanted to watch “halloween” to cheer herself up. and then we sort of got into the swing of the halloween thing…

we won’t be watching 6 -8 just yet, ’cause while we were watching #2 the fairy lights in our living room suddenly started flashing by themselves. charlotte was really spooked and since i’m flying to south africa for a week on saturday, she decided that was enough of “halloween” for now 🙂

the films really hit the spot for charlotte, though, and cheered her up no end. this was the second time that i’d watched them, having watched them all for the first time last year (although i’d seen the first one and h20 before). i really enjoyed them, although i have to look away for many of the killings – the various piercings especially!
